Let's Get to Know Each Other

What to expect  When it comes to interviewing, we focus on outcomes instead of processes. We believe your experience should be collaborative and enjoyable. Your attributes, attitude, credibility, and fit within the team mean more to us than your pedigree.

Job Analysis. Posting. Sourcing

First, we work together with the department and hiring manager to clearly identify the job requirements, and responsibilities, to create a good job description to attract suitable candidates. We use various methods to search for candidates, such as job boards, social media, but also employee referrals as well as university recruiting.

Screening and shortlisting

HR reviews the resumes and cover letters of the applicants to determine which candidates meet the qualification, then we invite selected candidates for a first interview to assess their suitability for the job. This is merely to check the basics and prepare you for the next step in the process.

Remote interviewing

The world has changed and so has our interview process. Our screening and first-time interviews are almost all conducted 100% virtually – and it works.

As a candidate, we try to provide you with as much flexibility as to where and when you interview, so you can have enough time to prepare for what matters most, getting comfortable and excited to meet with us.

Since we recruit for multiple of our locations, HR might be the moderator in an online meeting with the hiring manager based in another country.

Assessment

After the initial interviews, the most powerful part of the process starts. The team, the hiring manager, and other interviewers that were involved will discuss their findings and come to a yes or no decision together.

The hiring manager has the final say but heavily relies on the team’s input. To support the assessment, we may use various methods to assess the candidate's skills, such as skills tests, reference checks, background checks, and assessments.

Our thought process

For two reasons, we interview this way to strengthen our teams:

  • Fit – the new hire is a good fit in the team they join This increases the chance of success both for the candidate as well as for the team.
  • Respect – because the team is fully involved with the hiring decision, they will feel heard and respected. This strengthens the relationship between the team and management.
