Strengthening Partnership with Uzbekistan
Ahlers marked a new milestone in Uzbekistan by signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade to explore the development of a logistics hub in Tashkent or Samarkand. The company also reinforced its commitment at a high-level roundtable with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Brussels.
New Warehouse in Almaty
Following our 2023 launch in Karaganda, Kazakhstan, this summer our team launched the second Kazakhstan facility in Almaty. The additional 7,000 sqm warehouse adds premium capacity to support Appliances, FMCG, Personal Care, and other consumer goods sectors.
Investments in Regional Business Development
Ahlers Logistics signed an agreement with Kazakh Invest during Kazakh-Belgian business in Brussels. With over 25 years of experience in Central Asia, Ahlers views Kazakhstan as promising investment destination. Didier Duponselle, Director Warehousing & Onsite Logistics, expressed confidence in Kazakhstan's potential, emphasizing, «With government support, we'll continue our expansion in the region and plan to construct an A-class warehouse meeting all European standards.»
Navigathing the Silk Road
Ahlers Logistics sees potential to further expand its services along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR, or Middle Corridor).
