Tailored Solutions & Real-Time Insights for Major Industrial Project in Spain

In late summer 2023, Ahlers Logistics was called in by the customer with a big mission: transport of approx. 150 containers & 150 trucks with steel mill equipment from multiple departure points to a steel mill in Zaragoza, Spain. The customer, a leading equipment manufacturer for the metal industries, needed a reliable and efficient logistics partner for this critical project.

Tight Fit: Delivery of a 128MT Trunnion Ring from Italy to Germany

Ahlers Logistics was tasked to transport materials as part of a project for the replacement of Converter No. 1 at the integrated steelworks within AG der Dillinger Hüttenwerke in Dillingen, Germany. The biggest item was a so-called Trunnion ring with length of 13.5 meters, width of 9.5 meters and overall gross weight of 128 tons.

Ahlers Moves 8,000 frt for Steel Plant Transformation

Ahlers Logistics had the task of moving 8,000 freight tons of crane parts and accessories from Thailand to Duisburg. The cargo consisted of 42-metre-long crane girders and supporting trolley units weighing 850 tons in total. 

Transport Large Hydraulic Mining Shovels to Finland

Delivery of 3 large hydraulic mining shovels from Antwerp to the Siilinjärvi carbonatite complex, located in Central Finland to the largest open-pit mine.
