Forwarding Specialist – Ocean Freight

We're looking a Forwarding Specialist with solid ocean freight experience, ensuring efficient coordination, customer satisfaction, and continuous process improvement.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and coordinate ocean freight shipments (FCL/LCL) from booking to delivery.
  • Liaise with shipping lines, carriers, and agents to ensure smooth transport operations.
  • Handle documentation such as Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, and customs papers.
  • Monitor shipments proactively and keep customers informed on status and exceptions.
  • Ensure compliance with customs, export, and import regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (sales, operations, finance) to maintain high service quality.
  • Use digital tools and transport management systems (TMS, carrier portals, etc.) for accurate and timely data handling.

Your Profile

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in ocean freight forwarding (import/export).
  • Strong understanding of INCOTERMS, international shipping processes, and documentation.
  • Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
  • High attention to detail, strong planning skills, and a proactive attitude.
  • Comfortable working with digital tools and logistics systems.
  • Team player with a customer-first mindset and problem-solving approach.
