Procurement Manager – Logistics Sourcing & Management
Within our Consumer Division, procurement is regarded as a key commercial enabler. It plays a central role in cost competitiveness, margin protection, service reliability, supplier resilience, and security standards. To further strengthen this function, we are looking for a senior Procurement Manager in Lithuania to lead and develop procurement activities across our international organization.
As Procurement Manager – Logistics Services, you will be responsible for finetuning and implementing the procurement strategy, and as such also contribute in key sourcing, negotiating, and managing subcontractors, across multiple regions. You will operate as a senior functional leader within the Consumer Division, working in close alignment with Commercial, Operations, and Finance teams.
You will lead an international procurement team and shape a structured, performance‑driven procurement approach that directly supports pricing, tenders, and commercial decision‑making.
The role reports to the Commercial Director, Consumer Division.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strong, commercially driven procurement approach aligned with the Consumer Division’s objectives
- Lead and coach an international procurement team (approximately 10 people across multiple countries)
- Negotiate contracts and tariffs with strategic suppliers and manage ongoing supplier relationships
- Source and procure logistics services across mainly road, intermodal and sea transport, ensuring the right balance between cost, service and equipment quality and capacity.
- Support commercial teams in tenders and pricing exercises by providing competitive supplier input
- Monitor procurement budgets, supplier performance, and key KPIs, with a strong focus on cost control and execution quality
- Work closely with Commercial, Operations, and Finance stakeholders to support growth, margin protection, and service excellence
- Identify and mitigate risks such as price volatility, capacity constraints, supply‑chain disruptions, and quality issues
- Integrate transport and warehouse security requirements into supplier selection and contracting, including standards related to secure supply chains (e.g. TAPA)
- Operate with a high level of autonomy within agreed operational and commercial frameworks, escalating strategic trade‑offs where required
Your Profile
- Strong academic and professional background with minimum 8 years experience in procurement and logistics, preferably within freight forwarding, transport sourcing. Contract logistics is a plus
- Proven experience in a senior procurement or sourcing role with international exposure
- Solid ability to analyse tariffs, pricing structures, and total cost of ownership
- Experience leading and developing teams, ideally across different countries or cultures
- Sound knowledge of contract management, cost control, and compliance
- Experience with or strong affinity for secure transport chains and supply‑chain security standards (e.g. TAPA)
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage
- Structured, pragmatic, and commercially minded, with strong negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills
