BVA Roadshow on Logistics and Supply Chain Management – How Ahlers connects the world

Introduction

Vietnam's emergence as a new manufacturing hub and its evolving e-commerce sector has contributed significantly to the importance of logistics within its economy. Notably, the logistics industry stands out as one of the fastest growing sectors, constituting approximately 4.5% of the total GDP. Projections indicate that by 2025, the growth rate of this sector is set to surpass that of Vietnam's overall GDP.

While Vietnam's logistics industry remains relatively underdeveloped, the country's strategic location in Southeast Asia, robust economic growth with an average annual GDP growth rate of 6.5%, favorable government policies, and a skilled workforce presents significant growth prospects for investors. In fact, it is not a surprise that Vietnam is consistently ranked within the top 30 on the World Bank's Logistics Performance Index.

The BVA Roadshow on Logistics and Supply Chain Management seeks to provide participants with valuable insights and information about the logistics industry in Vietnam through the expertise of its member — Ahlers Logistics. The goal is to showcase how challenges within the industry can spur innovation, thereby unlocking transformative opportunities.
