Biography Hilde Nuyts

Hilde Nuyts joined Ahlers as Corporate HR Director in September 2020. She has a master’s degree in labor & organizational psychology from the University of Leuven (Belgium) as well as a postgraduate degree in business administration also from the University of Leuven.

Hilde started her career with Alcatel Bell as HR and Recruitment Professional in 2000 and has taken on roles within the field of human resources with increasing responsibilities for companies like Aleris (currently Alvance), BASF, and Avery Dennison where Hilde was focused on being HR business partner, on strategic negotiations with the labor unions and on implementing HR tools and HR systems within the company in line with the strategy.

Since 2015 Hilde has taken up roles in senior management teams overlooking the global human resources function. Hilde enjoys working with the leadership team in setting up and executing the strategic plan. She also enjoys building an HR team that is motivated to go the extra mile and that is empowered to take up the responsibility and accountability that leads to results and success.
