Relocation of flagship office in Mumbai /15 Oct 2011/

In a modest and traditional celebration conducted on the 4th October, the formal inauguration of the Mumbai office was done by Mr LucMaton, General Manager- Asia region by cutting the ribbon.

As at the time time Ahlers Indian held its Board meeting, quite a number of managers from the Ahlers organisation were present. Of course also eminent personalities from the Indian shipping industry & leading export houses/ corporates were invited and attended.

Key note address made by Mr LucMaton :'Ahlers remains deeply committed to our growth plans already announced for India in April 2011, and have firmed up the proposal to expand our operations .India plays a prominent part in the Ahlerss global business operations and we are optimistic of our continued impressive growth rate in the next few years'.

Statement by Pradeep Joseph, Managing Director of Ahlers India: 'Mumbai and the  Western regions remains central to the growth plans and vision of Ahlers India. With consistent growth in volumes coupled with varied diversification plans that Ahlers India management envisage for 2012 and beyond, it was imperative that Ahlers moves to a bigger and better office to accommodate more staff and also to offer top class facilities to our employees in their work environment. I also take this opportunity to announce the management’s decision to open Ahlers new office in Ahmedabad by end of 2011. Further, management is seriously contemplating investment in logistic hardware to enhance our presence & operations in India'.
