Euroafrica celebrates its 20th anniversary /25 Sep 2011/

Euroafrica Shipping Line celebrated 20 years of operation since their privatization from Polish Ocean Lines.

425 guests attended the event and were treated to a speech by ex President of Poland Lech Walesa. Euroafrica is currently the owner of 12 vessels operating in 3 regular lines – ferry service from Poland to Sweden, container service from Poland to the UK and the West Africa Service. In addition to the shipping operation the ESL Haas group is active in a number of other areas – crewing, real estate and hotels.

Ahlers has acted as Agents in Belgium for Euroafrica since 2004. We are active today in booking cargoes from the Baltic and North West continent to West Africa (steels from St Petersburg, malt from Rouen, fertilizers from Poland and general cargoes from Antwerp etc.). In the past together with Euroafrica we were also active in the Black Sea and this business will return as from the beginning of 2012. This will give us additional opportunities to fix business with Euroafrica.
