Ahlers India executes dump truck contract for BEML Bangalore /22 Sep 2009/

Ahlers India executed the shipment of 8 dump trucks from Chennai to Algiers with a chartered vessel.

The contract also required Ahlers India to fix the wheels at load port before loading as dump trucks are not allowed to be driven on Indian roads. The dumpers were transported from Bangalore to Chennai port in open trucks, wheels detached. The wheels were then re-assembled at Chennai port prior to loading.
