Newest Ahlers office in Tbilisi, Georgia opens /09 Feb 2006/
On February 7th, Ahlers opened its newest office in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi.On Februari 7th 2006, Ahlers Logistic and Maritime Services opened its new office in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.
On top of the full package of logistic services, the main focusses of the new Georgian Ahlers office are to strengthen Ahlers' commercial presence in Georgia and to arrange railway permits; a service which as from now can be arranged by Ahlers in Georgia directly for customers, Ahlers-agents and other Ahlers-offices.
The capital of Georgia has many assets among which its central location, the presence of almost all of the country's ministries, company headquarters and (foreign) NGO's.
The opening of the newest Ahlers' office was attended by customers, representives of local trucking companies, all Ahlers Georgia staffmembers, Ahlers' Managing Director Ivan Geilenkotten, the honorary consul of Belgium and the first secretary of the Italian embassy.
