Ahlers sponsors new modern art hall in Antwerp, called Extra City.What is Extra City?
Extra City is a new institute for contemporary art of the 21st century, who renovated a former grain silo in the Antwerp old port into a modern art hall. Extra City seeks to be a pioneering platform for exhibitions and reflection. The center will stage four large exhibitions annually.
The inaugural exhibition "Dedicated to a proposition" invited some 20 international artists to contribute and will open on November 20th.
As sponsor Ahlers will invite customers and partners to a pre-inauguration event on November 19th. An ideal opportunity to associate ourselves internationally with this initiative in a period where we open new offices in "extra cities" worldwide.
