New Sibelcon Board /01 Mar 2002/

On Friday, 22nd of February 2002, the yearly board meeting of Sibelcon was held in Shanghai, China.

At the occasion of the meeting it was announced that Mr Bao Qifan will take over the position of chairman of our joint venture in China from Mr Jin Wenhan, who will retire.

Mr Bao Qifan is a very wellknown personality in Shanghai and China. Mr Bao is Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Member of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee. He is Vice Port Director of the Shanghai Port Authority and Professor of Fudan University in Shanghai, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Wuhan University of Science and Technology and Shanghai Maritime University.

Also Mr Yu Zhao Jun became a new member of the Sibelcon Board. Mr Yu is the Director & General Manager of Shanghai Hai Hua Shipping Co and the Shanghai Port Container Co Ltd.

Sibelcon had a successful year 2001 and the members of the Board have given all their support to further development of the activities of the joint venture in Shanghai.
