The World Scout Jamboree in Thailand and Ahlers' involvement /02 Dec 2002/

Every 4 years some 30.000 scouts from all over the world unite on the World Jamboree. Main goal is to share experiences and promote integration of various cultures. The 20th edition will take place in Thailand from December 28th 2002 till January 8th 2003.

For Belgium about 500 persons, among which 360 teenagers will participate. Ahlers was contacted by the Belgian scouts via Export Flanders Bangkok, resulting in a 40ft container with camping material for the Belgian participants.

The container left the port of Antwerp on November 28th, destination: Laem Chabang in Thailand.
