Astra Logistics' new distribution center /06 Feb 2002/

Astra Logistics N.V. offers integrated logistic solutions to local companies who wish to outsource their logistic process and to overseas companies wishing to establish a European Distribution Center.

The logistics activities are developing steadily and in order to respond to the constantly growing demand for warehouse capacity, Astra Logistics N.V. decided to build a new distribution center, complying with all safety and environmental regulations and adapted to the individual needs of the clients.

In the Industrial Park "De Nest" at Evergem (Ghent) Astra Logistics purchased in January 2002 46.000sqm land. The land has an optimal accessibility due to the location beside the Ring of Ghent (R4), the canal Ghent-Terneuzen and the planned tunnel "Rodenhuize.

The building plans are drawn up now and after the receipt of the necessary licenses, the start of the construction is planned in the second half of this year.
