Ahlers Asia appointed as agents for NIRINT /21 Dec 2001/

As from 1st January 2002, NIRINT expands its services to South East Asia. It therefore appointed Ahlers Asia Pte Ltd. (Singapore) as its agent for Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.

NIRINT operates a regular multipurpose liner between Europe and Cuba (Havana and Moa) and acts as an independent carrier offering a reliable and customer focused service. For this, it has set up its own office in Havana and operates 4 multipurpose vessels, of which two are semi roro vessels.

After the successful expansion to China and Japan, NIRINT decided to accept also cargoes originating out of South East Asia. Containers will be shipped with reputable carriers to Rotterdam/Moerdijk and then connected on its own regular vessels sailing directly to Cuba.
