Ahlers Asia network appointed as agents of Brointermed /28 Feb 2001/

Brointermed Lines Ltd., Genova, Italy, a well-known carrier specialised in the trade to and from Libya, appointed Ahlers Asia Pte Ltd. Singapore as their general agent in Asia and the various Ahlers offices in Vietnam, China, Hong-Kong, Indonesia, Taiwan and the Philippines as their local agents.

Ahlers will develop and commercialise Brointermed's service in the China and South-East Asia/Libya trade and offer competitive FCL/FCL rates and fast transittimes from any port in the specified countries to :

• Tripoli
• Marsa El Brega
• Misurata
• Ras Lanuf
• Benghazi
  in transhipment via the Italian port of La Spezia.
