Astros Riga: new offices /18 Jun 2001/

In 1998 already Astros bought the premises at Ganibu Dambis 10a which originally used to be an apartment building.

The new Astros Riga location is situated in the port area, near to old Riga center.

As the building was completely unhabitable, full reconstruction was necessary.

Reconstruction works started this year on February 15th and should be ready by October 15th 2001. Construction exists of brick walls, an outside isolation with plaster and painting, a roof covering with veneer and Icopal soft sheets, first and second floor have a steel concrete covering. Some 35 upto 40 people are working at the site. Until now works are proceeding according to timetable.

Mr Aigars Bedritis is in charge of all technical follow-up from Astros side.
