Ahlers Asia General Meeting 2001 /10 Dec 2001/

From November 22nd till November 25th the Ahlers Asia General Meeting was held in Bali, Indonesia.

A total of 30 delegates originating from some 15 different Asian countries participated in the meeting. Each office gave a presentation, including a.o. a description of the company's historical background, past and present activities, core business, future goals and objectives and market conditions in the respective area/country.

Marc Eekels, Managing Director of Astros gave a magnificent presentation of this part of the Ahlers' organisation and ways how collaboration between the CIS and Baltic offices on the one hand and the Asian offices on the other hand can only contribute to a further growth of Ahlers. Wayn Kwan of the Marketing Institute of Singapore organised and coached a very interesting training for all delegates: "Building Customer Relationship". Some insurance matters and more precisely TT-covers issued were explained into detail by Pravin Rajakirshna of Thomas Miller, Singapore.
