Sarens developed a new heavy lift crane (the SGC-120, nick name 'Big Benny') with load moments up to 120,000 tonmeter. The crane was designed to meet the future demands of the industry and will be deployed for the construction of a factory unit in Chandler, Arizona/US.
Ahlers has been appointed by Sarens to move this largest mobile crane in the world from Ghent/Belgium to Chandler, Arizona/US.
Some fact & figures:
Besides organizing the door-to-door transport, Ahlers will also have 1 person on site both in Belgium and the US, assisting with the organization and coordination between all parties involved.
